As a Business Analyst at Stahl, you'll have a crucial role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive operational improvements. Collaborating with Business Controllers across various divisions and departments and a strong focus on Supply Chain management. You'll analyze large datasets that guide decision-making for business management and stakeholders.
Reporting to the Group Director Controller, your involvement in the transition to new Business Intelligence (BI) solutions will position you as a key player in our digital transformation efforts. In this hands-on role, you'll identify opportunities for process improvements and lead automation initiatives to boost efficiency. Engaging with various stakeholders, you'll gain insights into different business areas. With the freedom to innovate, you can shape your role by bringing fresh ideas to the table. Your responsibilities:
- Periodic and ad hoc reporting activities. Maintain reports and dashboards to visualize key metrics and trends
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions. Supporting the global Operations Controller. Typical focus areas include supply chain management, inventory control, quality assurance, customer service and financial
- Collect business requirements and convert them into practical technical requirements and solutions. Create management reporting that will be used for steering, constantly in tune with the internal organizational needs.
- Collaborating with IT to ensure data accuracy and accessibility. Help guide business in improving process, product and software through data analysis. The business analyst straddles the line between IT and the business. To help bridge the gap and improve efficiency.
- Participate in Holding projects and improvement programs. Focal point for ad hoc specific analyzing and reporting requests.
- You’ll engage with a diverse range of internal stakeholders, gaining insights into different business areas and their unique needs

You will be part of a small diverse team of 8 colleagues who are located in the Netherlands, Spain, and the United States. Your profile, skills and attitude:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Finance or related field
- Knowledge of Power BI, MS Excel and SAP
- Experience in operations / supply chain analysis
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar analytical role
- You are able to communicate with different stakeholders based on data in a clear and constructive way
- You are innovative and advise us on how we can improve and make our processes more efficient
- Good command of the Dutch and English language.
- Possibility to be present at our Global office in Waalwijk (Netherlands) at least 2 days a week

- Salary from €4.900 to €5.800 based on 40 hours per week excluding 8% holiday pay (based on experience/skills)
- A 13th month (8.33%)
- You start with a one-year contract and if the collaboration is successful, there will be an extension for an indefinite period
- This concerns a hybrid position in Waalwijk for 36-40 hours a week
- Travel costs: €0.23 per km for a maximum of 50 km one way when traveling to the work address.
