WHAT YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: 

This role will be responsible for overseeing and managing the daily production operations in the Singapore site.


JOB DESCRIPTION: 

  • Oversee and manage daily production operations to ensure adherence to production schedules and ATP (Available-to-Promise) commitments.
  • Utilize SAP (MRP) for production planning, material requirements, and inventory control.
  • Implement and monitor Managing Daily Instructions (MDI) processes to maintain operational discipline and performance tracking.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with SQCDP (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, People) metrics.
  • Enforce 5S principles to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workplace.
  • Lead structured problem-solving activities to resolve production issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Manage manpower allocation effectively to optimize productivity and meet output targets.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) standards.
  • Promote and implement Lean and Mean Manufacturing practices to eliminate waste, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least a Degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years’ of relevant working experience in chemical batch manufacturing processes operations.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and leadership skills.


MANDATORY CERTIFICATIONS:

  • BizSAFE Level 2 certification.
  • Work-at-Height Supervisor level or above.
  • Confined Space Assessor certification.
  • Site Incident Controller qualification.


OTHER INFORMATION:

  • 5-work days per week with high degree of flexibility and availability, often including on-call responsibilities for nights, weekends, and emergencies.
