WHAT YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: 

This role will be responsible for process troubleshooting, investigation and improvements for the production plant. 

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

• Review plant processes by taking measurements, interpreting data and implementing solutions to optimize production in a safe and cost-effective manner.
• Responsible for process troubleshooting, investigation and improvements.
• Involve and lead, if necessary, in the upcoming projects including start-up activities and pre-commissioning equipment performance check.
• Champion the Operations Excellence activities in production by developing training needs and standard operating procedure (SOP) for the production members.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Chemical Engineering.
• At least 3 years’ experience in process engineering and working in a chemical plant.
• Planning and organizing skills, ability to coordinate multiple tasks.
• Possess a positive attitude, strong desire to learn, good interpersonal skills, analytical mindset, diligent and with a high level of tenacity.
• Strong Written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to persuade others to change existing practices.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to identify, assess and solve problems.
• Proficient with computer and information technology.
• Knowledge of process engineering software systems.
• Familiarity with applicable health and safety regulations.
