Are you a driven procurement professional with a keen eye for cost optimization, supplier management, and process improvement? Then we have an exciting opportunity for you!

We are looking for a Local Purchaser to strengthen our manufacturing site. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for sourcing indirect goods and services. You’ll negotiate with suppliers, secure smart contracts, and ensure our internal stakeholders always have what they need—on time and at the best value.

What will you do?

• Execute procurement activities for indirect spend at the site.
• Negotiate with suppliers on pricing, contract terms, and delivery conditions.
• Lead strategic sourcing and capex procurement projects.
• Build and maintain a strong supplier base to ensure continuity and quality.
• Support the implementation of the Coupa procurement system.
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Finance, and other European procurement teams.
  
  

What do you bring?

• At least 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or sourcing.
• Higher professional education (HBO or equivalent).
• Solid understanding of procurement processes.
• Experience with SAP and preferably Coupa.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Results-driven, innovative, and not afraid to challenge the status quo.

What do we offer?

• Salary from €4.400,- to € 5.400,- based on 40 hours per week excluding 8% holiday pay (based on experience/skills)
• A 13th month (8.33%)
• You start with a one-year contract and if the collaboration is successful, there will be an extension for an indefinite period
• This concerns a in Waalwijk for 40 hours a week
• Travel costs: €0.23 per km for a maximum of 50 km one way when traveling to the work address.
